Caden Bennett Benefit Dinner / Auction
On June 13th, 2026 our small town of Pomeroy, Washington was rocked with the tragic loss of a 10 year old boy, Caden Bennet, in a farming accident. The loss of Caden deeply affected his family, friends, our small town of 1,200 people as well as many surrounding communities. To help support his family in Pomeroy, Lacrosse and Endicott, the Pomeroy Spinners and other community members are organizing a Benefit Dinner/ Auction on August 8th, 2026 at Spinners Maple Hall with doors opening at 4:00 PM. You can also see updates on the Facebook Event page.
We hope this event brings our small town communities together unlike any time we ever have gathered before to honor the life of Caden and help ease any financial burdens the families may be facing.

Broomstick Pool Tournament
Every year, the Pomeroy Spinners host the Broomstick Pool Tournament at Maple Hall on a weekend close to St. Patrick's Day. 48 2-person teams comprise the tournament with a qualifying round on Friday night for new teams. Top teams win money and trophies. This truly is a community celebration like no other!
Easter Egg Hunt
The Pomeroy Spinners are proud to organize the annual community Easter Egg Hunt. Every year, this is a favorite event for families. The Easter Egg Hunt is open to kids from 0 to 12 years old. Kids are separated into different age groups to make sure there’s enough eggs for everyone!
Downtown Beautification Campaign
Pomeroy Spinners are committed to our community. In an effort to keep downtown looking nice for Tumbleweed/Pioneer Days and the remainder of summer, we attempt to eliminate all grass and weeds on the sidewalk in late spring/early summer.
Scholarships
The Pomeroy Spinners Organization dedicates 100% of dues paid toward scholarships for seniors and then, usually, almost double the dues amount with our fundraising efforts to help Pomeroy High School seniors with scholarships.
Spinners awarded 5 scholarships this year totaling $7500! Our biggest year for scholarship in history!
Pioneer Days/Tumbleweed Salad Bar
We serve our community as part of the Pioneer Day / Tumbleweed Festival! The Spinners host a salad bar as a dining option as Maple Hall is transformed into a food court.
Garfield County Fair Baked Potato Booth
Patrons wait all year for a Spinners loaded baked potato during the Garfield County Fair. It's a feast in a bowl to fill any craving!
ATV-UTV-Dirt Bike Ride
The ATV-UTV-Dirt Bike Ride is growing in popularity each year. Annually, the last Saturday in September, ATV, UTV, and Dirt Bike Riders gather in the Blue Mountains south of Pomeroy. This unique ride includes games being played for points at each check station. Lunch is included with registration. Join us for a fun-filled day on the mountain with opportunities to win cash and great prizes!
Community Thanksgiving
The Pomeroy Spinners are proud to have taken over the Community Thanksgiving in 2017. We provide a delicious Thanksgiving meal to anyone who needs one or just needs companionship as we give thanks. Delivery is available for those who are ill or homebound. There’s no charge for this event, but donations are accepted.
Letters to Santa
One of our annual traditions is "Letters to Santa". In conjunction with Pomeroy Elementary School, kids can send their letters to Santa.
