ATV-UTV-Dirtbike Ride Rules & Waiver of Liability 

The rules set forth below for this ATV-UTV-Dirtbike ride shall be enforced. These rules shall be followed by ALL of those that enter as participants. Anyone in violation of these rules may be disqualified and may face criminal prosecution. The rules shall be read by ALL participants prior to the acceptance of any entry fee and/or donations and the signing of the waiver of liability. Let’s have a fun and safe ride! 


ATV/UTV/Dirtbike Ride Rules:

  1. PARTICIPANTS MUST SIGN A WAIVER OF LIABILITY. PARTICIPANTS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 MUST HAVE A LEGAL GUARDIAN SIGN THE SAID WAIVER.
  2. All routes are marked for travel. NO ONE shall leave the designated route. Nor shall they destroy foliage and trees, etc. Please use caution when operating your vehicle on hard surfaces. Respect the property of others so we can have another ride.
  3. Absolutely NO LITTERING!!! This includes cigarette butts. BE SURE ALL FLAMMABLE MATERIALS ARE EXTINGUISHED. SMOKE ONLY AT DESIGNATED CHECK STATIONS.
  4. There shall be NO discharging of firearms within the course or its immediate area.
  5. NO ONE shall remove, destroy, or change the direction of any signs that have been installed for the purpose of designating the route. Violators will be disqualified!!!
  6. Anyone found using unsportsmanlike conduct (hot-dogging, crowding others, spinning gravel near others, etc) will be disqualified. Further, they will be barred from future rides sponsored by the Pomeroy Spinners Community Organization.
  7. This is a family event, and we therefore ask that you refrain from shouting obscenities.
  8. The final check station will be announced at check-in. All participant scorecards from the ride will be stamped and turned in there by the final check-in time. 
  9. ALL participants are subject to Federal, State, and Local Laws. ALL participants must wear a helmet as prescribed by Washington State Law.
  10. Guardians are liable for the actions of their children under the age of 18 or any child in their care.
  11. If participating in the bucket run and acquiring multiple entries, each draw will be put on the card in the order you received it. Participants are NOT allowed to choose which entry they want their draw to be placed on.

I, the undersigned, do hereby release and forever discharge from any and all civil liability for injury or death that may occur while I, my minor child, or other minors in my care, participate in the Pomeroy Spinners Community Organization’s ATV/UTV/Dirtbike rides.


The following entities are all being released of any civil liability: State of Washington, Garfield County, City of Pomeroy, U.S. Forest Service, and Pomeroy Spinners Community Organization.


Parent(s) and/or participant(s) hereby release and forever discharge the above listed organizations, their successors, assigns, Board of Directors, officers, employees, and agents from all future claims, rights, and/or causes of action which may accrue as a result of personal injury, death, property loss, or property damage sustained by the participant arising out of, or as a consequence of participant’s participation in the above mentioned activities.


Parent(s) and/or participant(s) understand that the activity entered into, the Pomeroy Spinners Community Organization’s rides, involve risk of bodily injury to participant and could result in bodily injury or death to participant(s) and said activities further involve the risk of loss or damage to property and parent(s) and/or participant(s) knowingly and voluntarily assume that risk.


Parents (if participant is under age 18) and participant(s), affirm and agree that on his/her own initiative and assumption of risk, that participant is permitted to and is going to participate in the Pomeroy Spinners Now create your own Jotform PDF document - It's Free Create your own PDF Document 1 Community Organization’s ride. Participant agrees to hold harmless, indemnify, and defend Spinners Organization, its officers, agents, and employees, from and against any and all claims, losses, or liability, for injuries, sickness, or death of persons, or property damage, arising out of any misconduct or negligent act, error, or omission of Participant.
